If there is a manufactured item on the earth that is more widely distributed than plastic bags, it must be aluminium cans. Aluminium is a material that can be 100% recycled. The production of new aluminium cans waste a lot of energy and raw materials. Moreover, the producing aluminium is a process that pollutes the environment extremely.
First, the aluminium industry emits millions of tons of CO2 and other greenhouse gases every year. Even though aluminium cans only 1.4% of the total amount of waste in the world, the data tells us that they produce 14.1% of the global total. In addition, aluminium smelting also produces sulphur dioxide and hydrogen fluoride, these two substances are the main factors of toxic gas and acid rain.
ETF Eco Corp will do our best to collect aluminium cans to reduce the production of new aluminium cans, thereby reducing environmental damage.
