Around the world, almost 1 million plastic bottles are purchased every minute.
PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) / HDPE (High Density Poly Ethylene) plastic are one of many types of plastic pollution currently causing environmental problems.
PET is one of the most commonly used plastics in consumer products, and is found in most water and soft drink bottles. PET plastic is recyclable. The plastic is crushed and then shredded into small flakes which are then reprocessed to make new PET bottles.
HDPE plastic is the stiff plastic used to make milk jugs, detergent and oil bottles. HDPE is the most commonly recycled plastic and is considered one of the safest forms of plastic. Products made of HDPE are reusable and recyclable.
In ETF Eco Corp, we are adopting the principals in recycling for PET / HDPE plastic products, in order to reduce the damaging impact of plastic waste in the environment.
The process for the recycling of plastic in our facility is done in the conscientious steps.
We also work in collaboration with various organizations and local governments to promote recycling.
Until we can figure out how to live without plastic completely, we’re going to need ways to recycle them. Our landfills are only getting fuller by the minute.
